INTRODUCTION: Despite the huge Christians population in Nigeria, which is put at around 50% or 55%. Christians have no positive impact on the society . The Christain population and churches ought to bring down soaring incidences of corruption , moral decadence , kidnapping , armed robberry and other social vices through transformational and regenerational messages of the cross. Teaching exclusively about the kingdom of heaven, and who will be qualified to enter therein. Our Lord Jesus Christ, made mention of two ways ; the narrow and broad ways. The narrow or strait way leads to eternal life in heaven and the broad or wide leads to eternal destruction in hell fire.

TRAVELLERS ON THESE TWO WAYS .
The strait or narrow way had very very few people or travellers on it.
While the broad or wide way had many people or travellers passing through it.

Matthew 7:13-14 “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”

CHARACTERISTICS OF BROAD WAY CHRISTIANS.
The broad way Christians have the below identity and labels:

( A ) 2 Timothy 3:1-5, 7 “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth”

From the above scripture, twenty two characteristics of broad way christian are identified. Examine yourselves, as l do same from the mirror of God’s word.

( B ) The broad way Christians wants to serve God in their own terms and conditions.
( C ) The broad way Christians are spiritual Demas; they love the things of this world more than heavenly things.
2 Timothy 4:10
“For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.”
( C ) The broadway Christians are christians who wish to serve God in their own terms and conditions..
( D ) Broad way christians have no interest for Holiness and Righteousness messages and teachings.
( E ) The broadway christians are those who have removed ancient landmarks christians .

BROAD WAY CHURCHES.
The broad way churches are the christians denominations ,that has no vision of heaven nor preparing themselves for same.
Broad way churches can best be described as earthly churches. The focus of broadway churches are earthly prosperity, financial breakthrough, job , marital bliss and physical wealth.

Colossians 3:1-2
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

1. Members of broad way churches are not risen with Jesus Christ.
2 . Members of broadway churches don’t seek those riches and blessings, which are above, where Christ is sitted. They don’t desire heavenly mansion which Jesus Christ promised. up
3 . Broadway Churches inspired their members to set their affection on things on this earth alone.

Colossians 3:5-7, 10, 12
“Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.
And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that c upreated him:
Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels o okf mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;”
4. . All the works of flesh as above mentioned in Colossians 3 ; are manifested in the lives of members of broadway
Christians.

THE CONSEQUENT OF NARROW ANS BROADWAY.
The narrow way will lead whosoever found and follow it to eternal life in heaven. The few that follow this narrow way will forever and ever be happy and shall see God face to face in heaven.

The broadway is a popular way that leads to eternal damination in hell fire. Though many people are on this way, is a way that is against God’s pattern for our lives.

Finally, life is a choice but God is not interested in the death of sinners, hence God is calling everyone to repentance. Are you walking on the broadway? Are you a broadway Christian, please repent today and join few that are on the narrow way.
